Our satisfaction guarantee, gift card terms, and cancellation policy.
If you are not satisfied with a visit, contact us within 24 hours and we will return to re-clean the areas of concern at no charge. If you are still not satisfied after we return, we will refund the full fee. We have honored this guarantee since 1987 and have never tried to argue our way out of it. Since 2012, when we strengthened the policy to include both a no-charge re-clean and a full refund if requested, only one client has asked us to apply it. We think that record says more than any promise we could make.
CCC gift cards are valid for any cleaning service we offer. They expire six months from the date of purchase and are not redeemable for cash. Gift cards are non-transferable and may only be applied to services booked directly with The Cooperative Cleaning Company. If the value of the service is less than the gift card amount, the remaining balance stays on the card. If the service value exceeds the card amount, the balance is due at time of service.
We ask for 3 business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule a visit without a charge. Cancellations with less notice, and lockouts where the team arrives and cannot access the home, may be subject to a cancellation fee. This helps us protect the schedules and paid time of the employees assigned to your visit. We understand that life happens. If something genuinely unexpected comes up, a conversation usually resolves it.
